Delicious Matelatte Blends and Syrups

BREWING INSTRUCTIONS: Fill the single porte filter approximately 3/4 full , do not compress, run a single or double shot into a 8-12 oz cup, add your choice of steamed beverage, finish with your favorite syrup or syrup combination to taste( 1-1 1/2 oz). Each pound will yield approximately 50 drinks.

Traditional Matelatte: Brew as per usual, add steamed beverage of choice, finish with your favorite syrup or syrup combination. ( ie: vanillla, white chocolate, chocolate/hazelnut, chocolate/peppermint, almond, caramel etc).

Shaman Matelatte: Brew as per usual, add steamed beverage of choice, finish with white chocolate syrup if you dare!! An absolutely decadent drink!

Bengal Chai Matelatte: Brew as per usual, add steamed beverage of choice, finish with vanilla or sugar free vanilla syrup. An absolutely awesome drink, once you have tried this, it will quickly become your favorite!

Mateccino Chai
These are 2 gram tea bags with extra chai spices and 5% more ginger than our normal chai. This special offering can be used to make a Mateccino Chai. . .

Instructions: Steep 2 bags in 4 oz of water for 5 minutes. Heat milk of choice, add honey, sugar or sweetener and serve. For iced version, steep 2 tea bags in 4oz of water. Pour over 16oz cup of ice, add water, sweeten to taste and serve. For home espresso machines, how deep the porta filter is will determine how many bags to use. Place tea bags into porta filter, steam milk of choice, add sweetener or honey. I recommend sugar free vanilla for this Mateccino Chai.

Traditional Matelatte

Made with 100% traditional yerba mate. Meant to be brewed the same way a traditional coffee latte is brewed, two ounces of liquid yerba, 90% steamed milk,10% foam and three quarters to one ounce of flavor of choice.

Shaman Matelatte

Made with 100% traditional yerba mate with organic lavender buds. This was designed to be blended with white chocolate and soymilk. Any other latte flavors or other milk works just as well.

Bengal Chai

Made with 100% traditional yerba mate, ginger, cinnamon, cardamom, all spice, and cloves. We added a little extra ginger in this compared to our regular mate Chai. It gives it a nice spiciness like a traditional Chai from India. Our Bengal Chai contains no black tea. With this drink, it is meant to be made with a shot of vanilla; we use the sugar free at 0 calories compared to a shot of regular vanilla syrup at 60. Substitute with soy milk if preferred. Silk soy milk is a good brand.
