I came across an article this weekend that I wanted to share with you. Over the past few years, yerba mate has really broken out of its geographic confines of South America and penetrated mainstream habits of consumers in the US and around the world. In fact, some locales with similar climates to Paraguay and Uraguay are attempting to cultivate yerba mate for popular consumption. Here at Aviva, we've been at the forefront of the effort to bring this wonderful beverage to the states and educate consumers about its benefits as a healthful alternative to coffee.
